– 照明デザインに対する想い –

トヨノアカリは、
照度基準（lx）、固有エネルギー消費効率（lm/W）などの照明設計要素だけをデザインの判断基準とすることはありません。
光を媒体とし、人・物・素材・時間などの空間構成要素に文脈の様な関係性を生み出していきます。
良質な光と陰のコンテクストは、感動や安心を創造し、場の活力を創出します。

– その場らしさに対する想い –

現在、商業空間を中心とした多くの光環境では、省エネルギー光源の名を強調し、過度な灯りを要求し続けています。
明るさの競争の末に出来上がった抑揚の無い光は、本来あるはずのその場らしい魅力を引き出すことは困難です。
トヨノアカリは、
画一的な都市部の光環境だけに目を向けることなく、地域性に配慮したその場らしい灯りをあらゆる角度から考察し、
人や環境に根付く最適な光を創造します。

– 奈良に対する想い –

僕たちは、光の洪水により鈍化してしまった都市の光環境にさらに多くの光を足し続けて来ました。
真っ暗な大和の地で、日常の月あかりを感じ、闇の重要性に気付かされ、そのことにドキっとさせられました。
万葉の歌には灯や宵を表現した言葉が数多く存在し、
大和の地では今も尚、お水取りや御祭りなどの火灯りを用いた原始的な儀礼が続いています。
トヨノアカリは、
古来の人々の灯りに対する感性から多くを学び、心が揺れ動く光を創造します。


– Think of to lighting design –
Toyonoakari is…
When we design of lighting not judge only by the design criteria such as
“Illuminance(lx)”,”Power consumption(W)”, etc.
Make the relationship like contexts to space components such as people, goods, material and time.
Contexts of light and shadow can be produce emotion, excitement, safety of space.

– Think of to personality of the place –
In many light environments such as commercial space, we brandish the name of low-power light source,
and requires the many unnecessary lights.
Such extra lights are impossible to bring out personality of the place.
Toyonoakari is…
We will not only gaze uniform light environment of city,
and will consider suitable light to the regional characteristics.
So this light environment will take root in the human and the environment.

– Think of to Nara –
We has been continued to add more light to too bright light environment of city.
I felt the brightness on the moonlight in very dark land called Nara.
I noticed the importance of darkness, and felt my heart beating.
The “Manyosyu” have words to express the light and the evening.
In Nara from long time ago, is continuing the festival of using a fire called “Omizutori” “Onmatsuri”.
Toyonoakari is…
We will learn from sensitivity to light of ancestor, and will create light environment with the heart swings.
